IntelliTec College of Grand Junction Massage Therapy student Teaerra Moore was selected to receive the 2015 Colorado Association of Career Colleges and schools (CACCS), Student of the Year award in the category of Physical and Massage Therapy. The award ceremony was held on Friday September 18th at the Denver Post in Denver, Colorado.
The CACCS Student of the Year award is a very successful public relations program, providing recognition for outstanding career college students. The awards focus on 3 areas: Commitment, performance and leadership/professionalism. Teaerra’s instructors believe that she embodies all 3 of these qualities, and for this, she was nominated by both her program supervisor and instructor to receive this award.
IntelliTec’s Massage Therapy Program Supervisor Kathy German says, “Teaerra has demonstrated an outstanding performance during her academic and professional journey as a massage student here at IntelliTec College.”
Massage program instructor Madelina Brown also comments, “Teaerra is very hard working, motivated and has been a great inspiration to others.”
