Campus Facilities
The Pueblo campus occupies approximately 16,000 square feet of newly-renovated and updated space in a convenient location. It features spacious classrooms, laboratories for all programs, a reference library and ample parking. The classroom equipment includes many visual aids and 48 computer systems.
Career Training Programs: Facilities and Equipment
- Massage Therapy students train in a lab and working clinic environment that features: portable and stationary massage tables and accessories, massage chairs, a complete set of lotions and oils, aromatherapy supplies, linens and towels, bolsters, assorted videotapes, and a laundry.
- Medical Assistant students train in a classroom and clinical lab environment equipped with: syringes, needles, a centrifuge, a microhematocrit, glucometers, EKG machines, exam tables, a spirometer, an autoclave, a sedimentation rate rack, a hemoglobin meter, anatomy charts, Stedman’s Medical Dictionary, Physician’s Desk references, gram stain supplies, microscopes, oto scopes, sphygmomanometers, stethoscopes, an incubator, a baby scale, an adult scale, and a refrigerator.
- Cosmetology courses are taught primarily at the newly-constructed 3691 Parker Blvd. building, adjacent to the main Pueblo campus building. This 3,000 sq. ft. space has been specially designed from the ground up to be a full service cosmetology school and salon. The equipment includes thirty-six hi-tech, custom styling stations, hair washing stations, two European Touch pedicure stations, eight manicure stations, two esthetician rooms with electronic skin care systems, a color bar, dispensary/storage room, a laundry room and a locker room.
- The Health Information Technician students train in a computerized classroom that is equipped with current office equipment and medical software used in a medical working environment.
