IntelliTec College in Pueblo Celebrates Administrative Professionals Day

IntelliTec College in Pueblo, CO celebrated Administrative Professionals Day on April 22. The day was a big success for the department's students and faculty. The theme for this year's event was "Organization".
The day began with the opportunity for students to express their professional goals and share their dreams by writing on a "Goals" poster. We were then honored to have two guest speakers to join us with a discussion on what their expectations are from their applicants, for a position in their business. The first guest speaker was Rebecca Odegard-Siegele from District 70. She gave the students information on what she looks for in an interviewee. The second speaker was Mark Sutton of Premier Back, who was highly interactive with the students in an open forum fielding questions and providing helpful information.
Lunch was enjoyed by all after the presentations. IntelliTec celebrated by recognizing each of the Administrative Professional students with a special gift. Each gift bag included a clip board, a memo pad, pen, a monthly planner along and a "Way to Go!" kit. The day ended with playing a few games.
