IntelliTec College Expansion Celebration & All Automotive Event

IntelliTec College is celebrating the expansion of their automotive training facility with an ALL AUTOMOTIVE EVENT on Friday June 12 from 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at 2206 Pikes Peak Avenue. This is a family event and is open to the public with free admission.
This community event includes the Pikes Peak Auto Hill Climb Education Museum, historic cars and motorcycles, I-25 Speedway hornet class cars, Bandimere dragster & rig CS Fire truck Engine #1, as well as muscle cars, classic cars and vintage cars. For family fun, IntelliTec College has lined up a kids jumping castle, caricature and face painting artists as well as professional chair massages! Additionally, we have many drawings for tickets to the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, pit and grand stand passes to I-25 Speedway, Snap-On equipment and more!
IntelliTec College's automotive facility has been expanded with 8 new bays and more state-of-the-practice training equipment. IntelliTec has teamed up with Snap-On Tools and is the first in Southern Colorado to be a newly recognized Snap-on Certification Center so students get trained on the latest diagnostic tools. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment of automotive service technicians and mechanics is expected to increase 14 percent between 2006 and 2016, compared to 10 percent for all occupations. It will add a large number of new jobs, about 110,000, over the decade. IntelliTec's quality training includes high performance engine training that leads to an associate degree and ASE certifications quickly.
IntelliTec Colleges was established in Colorado Springs in 1965. Since then thousands of students have been trained for rewarding careers in the Pikes Peak Region and surrounding areas in IT, Computer Aided Drafting, Heating, Ventilation and A/C-Refrigeration. IntelliTec College is an accredited member of the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology and has campuses in Pueblo and Grand Junction.
