Congressman Tipton Inspires New Grads in Grand Junction

Grand Junction, Colorado – U.S. Congressman Scott Tipton took to the stage at the Two River Convention Center in Grand Junction March 23rd to address IntelliTec College graduates. He spoke of the strong educational values he grew up with and emphasized his support of the graduates’ accomplishments as they enter the workforce. Congressman Tipton is in his second term in Washington and is known for his candor with the common person and his/her everyday issues.

New Business Degree Program at IntelliTec

Grand Junction, Colorado – IntelliTec College is now offering a new career-training program in business. It features in-depth classes in accounting, finance, office procedures and computers in addition to basic business classes. This 18-month Associate of Occupational Studies degree prepares students to sit for at least four industry certification exams and gives them an overall understanding of how businesses operate.

Exciting Campus Changes are Here!
We are pleased to announce that the following changes in positions have been made on campus:
To enhance student services, we have implemented two new positions: the Director of Education, which has been awarded to Mr. Dean Blair; and the Associate Director of Education, which was awarded to Mrs. Leslie Barlow.
Mrs. Maloney will be Acting Career Services Director during Pam Waterman’s maternity leave. Together, they will be working to provide expanded student support functions.

Non-Smoking Campaign for 2013

Grand Junction, Colorado – IntelliTec College has recently initiated their first ever “quit smoking” campaign to promote student enhancement in 2013. A new year means new resolutions and new opportunities for students to better themselves. For 24 weeks, IntelliTec will educate students about the effects of smoking by inviting guest speakers, sharing student success stories and providing information from health experts.
IntelliTec College wants its students to know that there is never a better time than now to make the commitment to quit smoking; it just might save their lives.
