Colorado Springs Automotive Training School Hosts 4th Annual Everything Automotive Car Show and Expo

Event Release – For Immediate Release

Colorado Springs, Colorado – IntelliTec College invites the public to attend its Everything Automotive Show on Friday August 3rd from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. This free show has everything from classic cars to motorcycles to race cars and dragsters – up to 150 vehicles. This event offers free activities, music and free food for all ages and is made possible by IntelliTec College and other local sponsors.

Spectators can view motorcycles, custom cars, classics, hot rods, race cars, electric cars and even jet dragsters. Festivities include free hot dogs, soda and chips, a petting zoo, face painting, caricature artist, bounce house, ice cones, a live band and a live radio remote. This show will be held in front of the IntelliTec College Automotive building (south side) in the parking lot at 2206 Pikes Peak Ave. Attendee parking is on the north side (behind) the IntelliTec College Automotive training school. IntelliTec Brings Automotive Technician Training to Pueblo

Pueblo, Colorado – IntelliTec College brings its 15-month Automotive Technician program to Pueblo. The program awards an associate degree (occupational) and trains students hands-on in a real-world environment with Snap-On tools and experienced instructors. In addition, students are prepared to take industry certification exams. Open enrollment has just begun for the start of the July 9th session.

Travis DeCesaro - Auto Tech Graduate from IntelliTec College in Colorado Springs

IntelliTec College, an automotive training school in Colorado Springs, gives students the tools they need to successfully work in auto career jobs they will truly enjoy. Travis DeCesaro is a recent graduate of this auto mechanic training program and has been kind enough to share his story.

Mr. DeCesaro graduated from IntelliTec College’s auto mechanic training program in 2010 and is currently working at Pueblo West Quicklane Tire and Auto Center in Pueblo Colorado. He has been working with them for over a year now.

Q: What are some of your favorite things about your new auto career job?

A: I would say my favorite part of my job is working with my hands as well as my head. Sometimes I have to use a lot of problem solving abilities. Also, I’m not flipping hamburgers! (more…)
